Chioma Eweama is a lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. She studied linguistics and Igbo language at the Imo State University, Owerri. Her Master’s Degree thesis is Linguistics Study of Place Names: The Owerri and Ezinihitte Mbaise Example. Presently she teaches Applied linguistics and Igbo language courses in the Department. She is a prospective Ph.D student with a bias in Applied Linguistics. Her published works focus on studies related to Applied linguistics. Chioma Eweama was the Faculty of Arts Representative in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (2017-2019) and is presently a member of the Fund-Raising Committee, Faculty of Arts. She is the internet officer in the Department.
