Department of Linguistics & Nigerian Languages
Dr. Ogunlola is a Reader in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages at the University of Ilorin. His major interest is in the area of Yoruba drama and culture. He had his master’s and PhD at the University of Ilorin some years back. He has written several Yoruba plays. He has also published widely in reputable national and international journals. He is a member of the Yoruba Studies Association of Nigeria (YSAN). He has held the post of responsibilities in the department such as Coordinator for Sandwich and Remedial programmes, and Chairman Welfare Committee. Dr. Ogunlola has supervised several master’s and PhD students.
