Abdulrahman Sambo Waziri is a lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, University of Ilorin, where he teaches courses on general linguistics and Hausa. He specializes in the area of Hausa language. He also works with the Institute of Translation, University of Ilorin as an expert on Hausa. Waziri got a Diploma Certificate in Hausa Language at Nuhu Bramall Polytechnic, Zaria. He later studied at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained both his first and second degree in Hausa Language Studies.
