Bolanle Elizabeth Arokoyo is a Reader in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Her areas of interest include syntax, morphology, language acquisition, lexicography, and language documentation. She has been actively involved in the documentation of the language and culture of Owé (a dialect of Yoruba spoken in Kogi State) and Olùkùmi (a Yoruboid language spoken in Delta State). She is the author of Unlocking Morphology (2017), Owé Linguistics: an Introduction (2018), Unlocking Focus Constructions (2018), Owé Bilingual Dictionary (2017), Olùkùmi Bilingual Dictionary ((2017), with Olamide Mabodu), Owé Living Dictionary (2022) and Olùkùmi Living Dictionary (2022). She has participated in conferences both locally and internationally and is a member of many academic associations. She is a Fellow of the Living Tongues Institute for Endangered Languages, United States of America.
